My dog was my beloved companion for 17 wonderful years so I wanted to make sure his ending was as graceful and pain free as I could possibly give him. I did my homework beforehand especially on cremation places and also on where I wanted my dog to be euthanized if it came to that. Beloved Companions in Avon CT had great reviews, and my phone calls to them to discuss plans for my dogs final day when it came was met with caring, patience, and understanding and I didn’t want to deal with anyone else but Beloved Companions. I did at home euthanasia, pickup, and cremation for my little guy, and I am so glad to report that all went smoothly without any glitches whatsoever, allowing me to focus on my beloved companion and saying goodbye, completely free of added anxiety during such a sad and difficult time. I was hours from reaching our new home in town when my sweet princess of 13.5 years passed peacefully in my car. Not knowing where to go I reached out to a local community on social media who unanimously recommended Beloved Companions for her after care. Very distraught and upset with how this new chapter was beginning, everyone in this company was very compassionate, kind, understanding and reasonable.
